Medical Transportation Driver

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Transportation Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for patients to and from medical appointments, treatments, and other healthcare-related destinations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to coordinate transportation needs.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including trip logs and patient records.
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions during transport.
• Provide assistance with loading and unloading medical equipment as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.

**Qualifications:**

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in medical transportation or a related field is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods and driving for long distances.
